Cyber attacks

Post by AMS »

Reports today that Russia was gearing up to cyber attacking the Tokyo Olympics, until SARS-CoV-2 came up with a far more effective way of non-cyber attacking a major international sporting event.

But what I really don't get is why.

I mean, we're talking about a regime that poisons exiled dissidents with radioactive teapots and nerve agents on door handles. Petty and untrustworthy is par for the course.

All Putin cares about is making sure people regret crossing him.
And remember that if you botch the exit, the carnival of reaction may be coming to a town near you.
