Social media bans for Trump and his supporters
Re: US Election
Twitter has finally banned Trump. And Apple is going to ban Parler from the App store within 24 hours.

I think he'll be sad. Tweeting was his favourite thing, apart from golf, p.rn stars and the whole treason & crime thing.
Re: US Election
Tweeting was where he got direct validation from his adoring fans (apart from rallies of course). I don’t imagine he read many of the comments but he will have looked at how many likes he was getting. That’s going to be some rough come down he has from that. I don’t think he’s going to be able to recover from the blow to his pride. I certainly hope he won’t. Will he carry on holding rallies? Will venues agree to host him with the threat of violence that accompanies him? He’s not getting back on telly any time soon, unless you count OANN or whatever. He still has plenty of supporters but a lot less than three days ago. He will fade into obscurity and he’ll hate it and kick and scream at the walls.lpm wrote: Fri Jan 08, 2021 11:55 pm I think he'll be sad. I tell a lie, there is one way he will get on the news, if he’s a defendant.
How long till Melania leaves him?

It'll be interesting if the FBI do have words, as Parler demands a remarkable amount of info from its usersdyqik wrote: Sat Jan 09, 2021 1:03 am Google is also banning Parler, and Parler is down anyway (maybe AWS that hosts it has had a visit from the FBI?)

He could go on Scrutable. Its moderators have never banned anyone for inciting coups.

https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-55598887Google suspends 'free speech' app Parler
Google has suspended "free speech" social network Parler from its Play Store over its failure to remove "egregious content".
Parler styles itself as "unbiased" social media and has proved popular with people banned from Twitter.
But Google said the app had failed to remove posts inciting violence.
Apple has also warned Parler it will remove the app from its App Store if it does not comply with its content-moderation requirements.
On Parler, the app's chief executive John Matze said: "We won't cave to politically motivated companies and those authoritarians who hate free speech!"

Re: Social media bans for Trump and his supporters
I notice the first thing he tried to do was hijack the official White House twitter account and after that the Trump election campaign twitter account...
He really is going to hate being disconnected.
Finally - as seen on Twitter: Why don't they just change the name of Parler to "Evidence"
I'm sure Donald is going to incriminate himself if left to his own devices (no pun intended...).

It's almost as if when the Stray Cats sang 'thers a place you can go where the cops don't know', that they though it was like literally true and that the cops didn't just let them go there cos then they'd know where they were if they wanted them and that the whole thing has just materialised out of the Total Recall jukebox.

Amazon to drop Parler from its web hosting service, citing violent posts
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/09/amazon- ... rvice.html
Potentially a bigger deal than the apps being dropped. Much of the web runs of AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform. If the other two follow suit then Parler will find it very difficult. It’ll probably have to set up it’s own servers quickly (before the users disappear). That won’t just involve buying hardware, I expect they’ll also have to rewrite the software.

The 2 companies who supplied the email verification and phone number verification have dropped Parker. Apparently it is now possible to sign up with fake number and fake email. Hence its barricades are down and data mining op is inoperable.

As per the above link, Parler is shut down while they rebuild a version that doesn’t run on AWS (and presumably any of the other cloud services.lpm wrote: Sun Jan 10, 2021 10:07 am The 2 companies who supplied the email verification and phone number verification have dropped Parker. Parler is not shut down.
Just go to parler.com.
I've just joined. No testing of a fake email address or phone number.

Two minutes of reading and I've already bought Bitcoin, a Q flag and a taser to defend myself against deep state pedos. Isn't that Dan Bongino a great guy?

Wow, I hadn't realised Apple is controlled by the Chinese Communist Party who use iPhones to track Patriots.

Obviously part of the conspiracy.
Re: Social media bans for Trump and his supporters
I'm not going to be here much now, I'm going to be hanging with my new friends on Parler. And I'll be busy. There are 50 state houses and they won't storm themselves.
